Crypto Investment Strategies: Follow Big Money for Success
Market Overview and Investment Strategy
Good morning, crypto degens. How are you doing this fine morning? Actually, it’s afternoon here. The market is looking nice today with some green candles, which is always good. If prices go down, we’ll just buy more and accumulate at wonderful prices. I was browsing Twitter today and came across a post from Cook. He said, “The secret to crypto investing is very simple. Just don’t hold the bad coins.” It’s a good point. How do we know what the best coins are? In my opinion, we should follow the big money. It’s almost guaranteed you’ll do well, though nothing is 100% certain. There could be a black swan event, but generally, following big money is a sound strategy.
Big Companies and Their Crypto Holdings
Ash Crypto mentioned that BlackRock’s ETF has bought 34,700,000 in Bitcoin. Cointelegraph reported that Strategy has bought more Bitcoin this year than miners have produced. Bitmine purchased another 169 million in ETH, and Tom Lee now owns 4% of ETH. Big companies are making it their business model to buy these coins. Everyone knows about Bitcoin, but let’s look at other companies involved. We can call them crypto treasury companies. These companies primarily buy crypto. MicroStrategy, for example, holds 750,000 Bitcoin, which is insane. Marathon Digital Holdings, Riot Platforms, MetaPlanet, and Galaxy Digital are also involved.
Ethereum and Solana Investments
Ethereum is another major player, with companies like Bitmine using it as a treasury asset. Bitmine holds 4% of the supply, which is significant. Galaxy Digital also has other assets. There aren’t many other coins that companies are holding, but Solana is one of them. Solana Ford Industries, Upexi Inc., Defi Development Corp., and Soul Strategies are buying large amounts of Solana. I decided to buy more Solana myself, as it’s my biggest holding. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana are the top coins that businesses are buying to secure a percentage of the supply.
ETFs and Top Coins
Regarding ETFs, Bitcoin is the biggest, with around 18 Bitcoin ETFs from companies like iShares, Fidelity, Grayscale, Bitwise, and others. Ethereum follows with about nine ETFs. Solana is next, with 21Shares and Morgan Stanley working on related products. XRP and Polkadot also have ETFs, and there are multi-asset funds that include these top coins. The top three coins that big investors are buying are Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Solana offers the biggest risk-reward ratio, as it’s used for many applications and is priced lower than Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Risks and Opportunities in Altcoins
While there are opportunities for significant returns, it’s essential to be cautious. For instance, the Rave token recently pumped 55x in six days, which is a sign of manipulation. Such coins can be risky, and it’s better to stick with guaranteed returns from top coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Everything is super cheap right now, and you can expect potential returns of 2-3x for Bitcoin, 3-4x for Ethereum, and at least 5x for Solana in the next few years. Other coins like BNB, XRP, and Chainlink also offer good potential returns, but be cautious with coins like Cardano and Avalanche.
Final Thoughts
In conclusion, focus on buying the good stuff that top firms are investing in. Avoid risky coins that are subject to manipulation. That’s my advice for today. I hope you have a great afternoon, enjoy your life, and appreciate all the blessings you have. See you tomorrow.
